Blue Sky and Clear Water! We visited Macinac Island on Thursday. Macinac is famous for it's views of the Lakes, the horse drawn carriages, and fudge. Since there are no cars on the island, we spent the day, exploring the island in horse drawn carriages while eating fudge. The twenty minute ferry ride from Macinac city was a big hit with the kids. They got to sit on the top deck and enjoy the scenery. With weather in the low 80's and no humidity, we had a perfect day to explore the island, shop and visit the fort.
