Michigan Vacation

It is mid-August but the temperature feels more like Spring. The lite breeze offsets the 80 degree weather, making our outdoor activities pleasant. The water is amazingly clear! We are enjoying our time on Crooked Lake. The Petosky area is quiet, yet offers many excursions like shopping, hiking, museums and beatiful views of Lake Michigan. When we rent a motor boat, we will be able to get to Lake Huron by traveling through the adjoining lakes. We are learning more about fisheries than imaginable, and having fun hiking and fishing and just plain kickin' back and learning the relaxing ways of the North.
